How to Set up a Pagan/Wiccan Altar (Simple)~

So, you want to set up a Pagan/Wiccan altar. Say you want something simple, or just can't afford to go "all out". Well, if this is what you want, look no further!

Find a place where your set up will take place. This can be a small table, bead-stand, dresser, or in a box for the witch on the go.

Think of a Goddess side (left side), the middle, and a God side (right side). Keep in mind, you can put whatever you want in your altar, the following is a suggestion set up.

Goddess Suggestions~~~~~~

Things that you might want to put on the Goddess's side, would be:
A semi large candle with a color you best think represents the Goddess (e.g. green or silver or white)
A statue that represents the Goddess. This can be any goddess: Isis, the moon goddess, or statues from a Greek goddess like Hestia, depends on what goddess calls you.
Something that may represent 4 elements
water = chalice or bowl of water, seashell, crystal or glass
earth = stones, plants (leaves, flowers, etc), salt or soil
fire = a candle, incense
air = boline, wand, feather or incense
A few objects that are sacred and special to you.

God side~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Things that you might want to put on the God side would be:
A semi large candle which color you think bests represents the God (e.g. yellow or gold)
A statue which represents the God :
The green man,Lugh ,Osiris,or any other god
Object for the 4 elements
water = chalice of a bowl with water/ seashell
earth = stones, a plant ,etc
fire = a candle
air = a boline, a wand, a feather or incense
A few other objects that are sacred and special to you

Middle/ Center of the Altar~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You will need:
Pentacle
Book of shadows
Athame
Wand
A candle (red, blue, yellow, or green, depending on your zodiac sign)
Stones, or Crystals , boline, a cauldron, a bell,a broom ( a little or a big one)
